Terms and Conditions of Trade for Straight Line Electrical, Mobile Auto Electrician.
Quotes & Estimates
All quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. Quotes are based on information available at the time and may change if additional faults or repairs are discovered. No additional chargeable work will be carried out without customer approval where reasonably practicable.
Mobile Service & Call-Out Fees
A call-out fee may apply based on travel distance and location. Call-out fees cover travel time and attendance and are payable even if no repair is completed. If the vehicle is inaccessible, unsafe to work on, or the customer is unavailable at the agreed appointment time, the call-out fee remains payable.
Commercial & Trade Accounts
Approved trade customers may receive 7-day or 14-day payment terms as agreed in writing. Payment is due by the invoice due date. Straight Line Electrical reserves the right to suspend future work on overdue accounts.
Late Payments
Overdue invoices may incur interest and reasonable debt recovery costs where permitted by law.
Payment
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is required immediately upon completion of the work.
Parts and Ownership
All parts remain the property of Straight Line Electrical until paid in full. Manufacturer warranties apply to new parts. No warranty applies to customer-supplied parts.
Workmanship Warranty
A 12-month workmanship warranty applies. Excludes wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse, water damage, corrosion, rodent damage, third-party modifications and unrelated faults.
Diagnostics
Diagnostic time is chargeable. Additional faults may become apparent during repairs and further approval may be required.
Customer Responsibilities
Customers must provide accurate information, ensure safe access to the vehicle and remove valuables before work begins.
Customer-Supplied Parts
Customer-supplied parts are fitted at the customer's risk. Additional labour due to faulty supplied parts will be chargeable.
Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Liability is otherwise limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Cancellations
Late cancellations may incur a cancellation or call-out fee where travel has commenced or costs have been incurred.
Delays
Straight Line Electrical is not responsible for delays caused by weather, traffic, supplier shortages, illness or circumstances beyond its control.
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
Acceptance
Acceptance of a quotation, booking confirmation, invoice or commencement of work constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions. By accepting this quote or authorising work, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms.
